As the network scale continues to expand, telecom operators, large enterprises, and industry users require that routers at the distribution layer provide a higher convergence capability to save customer investment, simplify the network hierarchy, and improve the network maintainability on the basis of providing diversified features and flexible solutions. The RT-HIM-1CPOS/STM1-H3 is high-speed OC-3/STM-1 channelized packet over SONET/SDH (CPOS) modules developed by Hangzhou H3C Technologies Co., Ltd. for the H3C SR6600 series routers to meet these requirements. The 1CPOS provides one and two small form-factor pluggable (SFP) interfaces, respectively. Each SFP interface has one LED indicating its running status and one LED indicating its fault status. This 1CPOS can be channelized into E1, T1, or DS0, and support high-performance hardware Multilink PPP (MP) and comprehensive service features.
