The 4X-IP7131 can be accessed and controlled by a variety of methods, including; Internet Explorer 5.0 and above, Real Player 10.5, Quick Time 6.5, Packet Video Player 3.0 and cell phones with 3GPP capability. These options, coupled with the built-in microphone, allow you to listen and watch remotely while the 4X-IP7131 captures audio and video at your camera locations.

The 4X-IP7131 is equipped with built-in PoE (Power over Ethernet) and follows the Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) allowing Windows XP/ME computers to automatically recognize the 4X-IP7131 and add it to the network. Your home or business surveillance and security solution can be further enhanced by configuring the included 32 camera monitoring and recording software, which offers both motion detection and scheduled recording of up to 32 4XEM Internet cameras. This advanced software allows you to archive video on your PC hard drive while the built-in Web-based interface allows you to easily monitor and control your camera from remote locations.
