The Optical Multiplexer Module (OMM48) interfaces to OC-48 on the network (high-speed) side and provides interfaces to the tributary slots in the OPTI-6100. Two units may be equipped for redundancy if required. The unit provides on-board, any-to-any STS and VT cross connect. The optics on this module is pluggable SFP and is ordered separately.
