The Z8PE-D12X supports UDIMM and RDIMM DDR3 memory that features data transfer rates of 1333/1066MHz to meet higher bandwidth requirements for server and workstation applications. This voltage reduction from 1.8V for DDR2 to just 1.5V for DDR3 limits the power consumption and heat generation of DDR3, making it an ideal memory solution.
