The LevelOne GNC-0107 Fiber Gigabit Ethernet network interface card provides network connectivity within high-speed fiber-optic networks. The high bandwidth network interface card provides full-duplex network data speeds of up to 2000MBps and support an array of advanced network interface functionality.

The GNC-0107 Gigabit Fiber PCI card supports a 32 or 64 bits PCI bus configuration for servers that require a high-bandwidth environment. It is IEEE 802.3x compliant, providing full-duplex flow control for 2Gbps network data transfer speeds over a 550 meter fiber connection. It also requires less server resources by providing on-board verification of IP headers and TCP/UDP checksums for received data.
