Each port of this switch can auto negotiate for maximum performance running in the full or half duplex modes. While combining power with Ethernet Technology, 8 of these 16 ports automatically detect the presence of IEEE 802.3af-compliant devices and provide the capability of transferring power and data over a single cable. Friendly web management features are ready for users easily to configure and maintain this device through a general web browser. Furthermore, the trunk function enables the switch to provide the particular bandwidth that is available when it's needed most. In addition the port-based VLAN function provides both network security and cost-saving solutions to reduce latency and the need of an extra expensive router.

The compact 19", 1U rack-mountable design enables the switch to be easily located in a server room or computer lab in order to centralize power management and simplify network integration for various applications.
