LevelOne's FSW-1602TX Fast Ethernet Switch is a wire-speed and cost-effective networking device that provides 16 ports with 10/100 Mbps Ethernet connections. This device combines dynamic memory allocation with a store-and-forward switching method to ensure that the buffer is effectively allocated for each port. It also controls the data flow between transmit and receive nodes to guarantee against all possible packet loss. All ports support Auto-MDIX allowing uplinking to another switch straightly without cable selection hassle.

The FSW-1602TX is ideal to share bandwidth 10Mbps or 100Mbps workgroups with multiple high-speed servers. With the highest bandwidth at 200Mbps, each port can provide workstations with congestion-free data-pipes for simultaneous access to the server. Furthermore, this device is also expandable by cascading two or more switches together and provides more Ethernet connections.
