The Smart 2 gets its power directly form the computer so no external power source is necessary either! Once connected, computer selection is easy. Simply press the push button on the Smart 2 or directly from the keyboard hotkey. The unit also includes scan mode for automatic sequential viewing of all computers controlled including manual selection of the scanning interval. The Smart 2 operates on a variety of operating platforms including PS/2 and UNIX (HP, SGI). It is fully compatible with Minicom's entire line of KVM switches.
