Strengths: Great way to use your new keyboards and mice with your legacy system.

Weaknesses: None that I've found.

Summary: This item is awesome :) I can now hook up my new keyboard and mouse to my computer with no USB ports. Woo hoo!

Doug

Strengths: Works as advertised. Outstanding method to adapt legacy hardware to newer applications.

Weaknesses: None.

Summary: Laptops have not had PS/2 keyboard connectors and mouse connectors for many years. Newer docking stations also lack PS/2 connectors. So when one wants to use an external keyboard & mouse with a laptop [either in a docking station or pseudo docked] one has to obtain newer keyboard + mouse with USB connector and often a USB port extender. If you have an older keyboard and an older mouse with the round PS/2 connectors, then this cable is an effective way to connect them to your newer application.
