The Cisco AS5350XM Universal Gateway is a one-rack-unit (1RU) gateway that offers best-of-breed voice, fax, and remote-access services and supports 2-, 4-, or 8-port T1/7-port E1 configurations. It doubles the performance of the Cisco AS5350 and delivers significant memory enhancements to offer high performance and high reliability in a compact, modular design. The Cisco AS5350XM Universal Gateway supports existing Cisco AS5350 trunk termination and universal port feature cards in a more powerful chassis to help ensure continuing network investment protection. This cost-effective platform is ideally suited for service provider and enterprise environments that require innovative voice, fax, and data services.
