The Foris FX2431's versatile connections include dual HDMI inputs to connect with devices such as Blu-ray players, HD game consoles, and computers. Composite, component and S-video inputs support signals from audio-visual (AV) equipment such as DVD players, satellite tuners, or Sony's PSP (PlayStation Portable). Up to four PCs can be connected at once using digital or analog PC inputs and the HDMI inputs.

The FX2431's auto USB selection feature and two upstream USB ports allow for simultaneous sharing of one keyboard and mouse between two connected computers. Auto USB selection reduces desktop clutter since you only need one mouse and keyboard to use your PCs, and it offers the added convenience of not having to reconnect your peripherals every time you switch computers.

Eizo's FX2431 features a "Portable mode" connection that lets you plug in your PSP (PlayStation Portable) and play games on the monitor's generous 24-inch screen. It also comes with an AV connection that lets you display 480i/p format and other low resolution games at up to twice their original size without distortion. You can set the monitor to automatically resize PC and video signals vertically and horizontally, or so that you can adjust game signals manually.
