Applications benefiting from the large format display include animal research, display of consumer information, and museum usage. The removable base makes the 4220L suitable for both the desktop and for wall mounting using an arm. Portrait mode is also available. VGA loop through allows daisy-chaining of multiple monitors, and the monitor can be remotely controlled by a network.
