With a pre-installed Microsoft Windows-powered operating system and pre-configured user storage, you're up and serving files in minutes. It supports multiple file-sharing protocols, so you can consolidate and make a single centralized platform to manage and protect, or you can create a scalable disk-based backup/replication target. And if you have a Fiber Channel SAN, you can use the new x64 SAN model and its built-in iSCSI software target to create both file access and tiered block storage for application servers.
