The Dolphin Net Base is a four-slot charging and communications cradle for Dolphin 9500 Series mobile computers. High-speed data transfers via the cradle's Ethernet connection and its four-terminal capacity make the Dolphin Net Base an ideal component for most enterprise networks.

An additional gateway PC is not required, enabling a seamless interface to standard Ethernet network infrastructures. IP addresses are obtained automatically via a DHCP server, making setup and configuration fast and easy. You can custom configure through a text-based serial interface or a standard HTML-based browser.

You can connect the Dolphin Net Base throughout in premise environments and to virtually any host computer system via network interfaces. Dolphin Net Bases can also be connected to each other, or daisychained, which makes it possible to place a group of terminals on your network via one Ethernet port.

The Dolphin Net Base charges the main Li-ion battery pack of each terminal in less than four hours. Each slot charges independently of the other slots. When a full charge is complete, charging slots automatically switch to a trickle charge, thus preserving and ensuring a full battery charge. The open-slot design allows easy access to docked terminals while holding each securely. The ergonomic form factor also ensures that the unit can be easily mounted to a wall or desktop.
