Naurtech's CETerm is a 4-in-1 software application which includes Terminal Emulation and an Industrial Web Browser. CETerm provides businesses with access to critical legacy applications running on IBM 3270, AS/400 5250, VT hosts or web servers, from any Honeywell terminal. It is optimized to leverage the ergonomics of Honeywell terminals to allow you to build superior data collection solutions.
Secure Shell (SSH) protocol
CETerm now contains a feature-rich implementation of the Secure Shell Protocol. Both SSH-1 and SSH-2 protocols are supported, with a broad range of encryption and authentication options. Encryptions include AES-256, Blowfish, and Triple-DES. Authentication can use traditional passwords or public-key infrastructure (PKI).

Keyboard and key controls
CETerm contains extensive features to control the hardware keys on a device. CETerm have recently added features to prevent Windows Mobile from hijacking function keys. CETerm have also added a "Trap" feature to make it easier to select keys for remapping when the key label is misleading. There are also features which make it easier to use phone-style keypads with IBM emulation.
More network awareness features
CETerm continue to strengthen the network awareness of CETerm. There are features to allow recovery when a browser session loses connectivity during a page load. Using these features and Network Alerts for lost RF connectivity will virtually eliminate dropped sessions without needing an expensive middleware server. CETerm delivers a simpler operating environment and the lowest cost of ownership.
