Nokia 5i is a desktop connectivity gateway supporting leading edge VPN, routing and firewall functionality for exceptional performance for a small office. By supporting point-to-point protocol, Nokia 5i will provide network connectivity using broadband networks. The gateway is equipped with three configurable 10/100 Ethernet ports and a console port to connect to an external modem. Nokia 5i is also equipped with a serial port for dial backup in the event of a link disconnection on the Ethernet port.
