The Nortel Ethernet Routing Switch 5698TFD provides 96 ports 10/100/1000Base-T, six combo SFP ports plus 2 XFP ports. The switch includes two built-in fast stacking ports in a compact 2RU high design incorporating N+1 redundant power supplies. Ideally suited for wiring closet but also suitable for server distribution and data aggregation applications, this switch is entirely non-blocking providing wire-speed performance on all ports.

The ERS 5698TFD provides the highest port density and best per-port cost with SFP and XFP optical interfaces.
