The Overland REO 4500 VTL Disk-Based Backup and Recovery Appliance with Protection OS enables fast, reliable data backup and recovery. Easily configured as disk volumes (LUNs), dynamic virtual tape drives, and/or a virtual tape library the REO 4500 VTL is compatible with all popular backup software, physical tape drives and libraries for easy integration with Ethernet (iSCSI) and Fiber Channel networks. Patent-pending Dynamic Virtual Tape ensures that no capacity is wasted and simplifies virtual tape management. Embedded Protection OS software delivers intelligence along with enhanced features via software PACs. A robust browser based interface provides proactive monitoring and makes management a breeze.
