It provides approximately 11TB native useable capacity with RAID 6 and one hot spare drive (factory default). Order this item for a 1TB drive-based system to increase performance and provide a smaller capacity increase at the same time. The number of Array Modules must be less than or equal to four, and must be equal to or one greater than the number of Expansion Modules. After the system has four Array Modules and four Expansion Modules, then order Expansion Modules (factory installed DDY75-FDEX-011A or field upgrade DDY75-UDEX-011A) for further capacity expansion.
