It provides approximately 11TB native useable capacity with RAID 6 and one hot spare drive (factory default). Order this item for a 1TB drive-based system to expand the capacity of a system that has two Array Modules with one Expansion Module, three Array Modules with two Expansion Modules or four Array Modules with three or more Expansion Modules. A second rack must be ordered when the system is expanded from the fourth to the fifth Expansion Module. System maximum is four Array Modules and 16 Expansion Modules.
