This Quantum DXi7500 Expansion Module includes one 3U expansion module with 16 1TB drives, redundant power and fans; and license. It provides approximately 11TB native useable capacity with RAID 6 and one hot spare drive (factory default). Order this item for a 1TB drive-based system to add the fifth through sixteenth expansion array to the base system (after ordering the array module and expansion module combination for the first three expansions). A second rack must be ordered the first time this item is added (i.e., when the system is expanded from the fourth to the fifth expansion module). System maximum is four array modules and 16 expansion modules.
