For security, the Access Point supports enterprise-level advanced authentication and encryption, including Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA), up to 152-bit WEP encryption, 802.1x authentication access control with key rotation. For offices, schools, or public hotspots that already use 802.11b devices, the SMC2555W-AG2 is a great way to expand existing networks and enable more users to communicate with one another to access data and share an Internet connection.
