This SATA or USB to Dual Compact Flash Solid State Drive adapter features a SATA male power connector and a SATA male data connector, a Mini USB B connector, as well as two Compact Flash ports, allowing you to connect two Compact Flash type media cards to a laptop computer in place of a Serial ATA (SATA) hard drive. The USB 2.0 interface allows it to be connected directly to a Desktop or Notebook PC. The USB connection provides both data and power to the adapter allowing the CF cards to be accessed without requiring any additional adapters or cables. The adapter also features three RAID modes for card configuration; RAID 0 (Stripping), RAID 1(Mirroring), and BIG (Concatenation). A Do-it-yourself SSD solution, the SATA to CF adapter allows Compact Flash, Compact Flash 2, or MicroDrive media to be used on a notebook computer as a bootable hard drive and requires no software or driver installation.
