The RedPort line adds write-blocked ports to a Windows or Linux computer. Connecting an enclosure to RedPort on the back of a computer means the attached enclosure is write-blocked.

RedPort works much like Forensic Docks, preventing writes to drives. But instead of being an external docking device, RedPort is a PCI card and works within the host computer, allowing write-blocked access to enclosures or drives with one of several connection types.

RedPort SAS uses a standard SATA cable to connect to "Serial Attached SCSI" devices at up to 3Gbps speeds. This is WiebeTech's addition to the RedPort lineup, and WiebeTech's first in-line write-blocking solution for SAS drives/enclosures.
