Strengths: Great when I plug the lamp into the master outlet and turn it off and all the other stuff in the slaves are off too!

Weaknesses: The slave outlets are useless when I plug the laptop into the master.

Summary: I got this for my laptop and all other related computer stuff (printer, speakers, etc). However the way I have it set up, my laptop needs to be plugged into the master, and when I do, none of the slave outlets will work.

Strengths: conserves energy by turning off peripheral equipment

Weaknesses: Have to fine tune the device so equipment turns off with the master device

Summary: Worth the money in electricity saved. Well made device. I've bought several to use on my computer, printer, modem etc. Also use it for TV to turn off cable, DVD player, sound system.
