Strengths: You now have a portable hard-drive, regardless of whether it's laptop or desktop.

Weaknesses: I wish the cables were a bit longer, it's tough to find someplace safe to put it, as the cables aren't quite long enough to put it on top of the case.

Summary: I bought this item after doing a bit of research on how best to transfer the files off of my dead laptop to my desktop. I've been very happy with this product so far, and would definitely recommend it to others.
