Strengths: Excellent build. Internal fan, power and base connections.

Weaknesses: No easy way to mount from the ceiling w/out the arm.

Summary: After buying 1, I bought 6 more of these. They work great, look very sturdy. I would strongly recommend DCS-6620 to go with this rather than DCS-5300 series.

Strengths: All metal, very durable

Weaknesses: Does not work with D-Link wireless cameras. Very expensive.

Summary: Too expensive and difficult to implement. Will not allow DCS wireless cameras.

Strengths: none

Weaknesses: Fan is very noisy. You can see cam and position through glass.

Summary: This item was very pricey for the performance it gives. Fan should be quieter.

Strengths: Solid Construction Easy Set-Up

Weaknesses: Lacks Multiple Installation Configurations Example: Ceiling & Reverse Mounting

Summary: Can Be Mounted To Ceiling But You Must Make Adapter Plates. Do not Recommend Reverse Mounting Due To Bell Housing Design Will Retain Water. Otherwise Good Product Purchased First Then Second Both On Diagonal & Opposite Sides Of House.
