Strengths: Ease of use

Weaknesses: None

Summary: I bought it to add four ports on my network in the living room for the UPS, DVR and HD-DVD player. It performs the tasks perfectly. Right out of the box it was easy to use... Plug it in to the main switch, connect the devices and all is well. I have been using D-Link products for years with NO problems. This is another winner!!

Strengths: Easy install, inexpensive full duplex switch, has signal indicator lights for send/receive, nicely designed for desktop use, can be wall/under-table mounted with included hardware.

Weaknesses: Haven't found any yet.

Summary: This switch does everything that I wanted it to. It allows full duplex mode connections for faster file transfers, and routes the data to the correct port/computer with minimal lag time improving my latency while multiple systems are online. The main reason I got this switch was to replace an old hub which I had laying around when I found the need for another network device. The hub worked, but we would get random lag spikes and drops since the data is simply blasted out on all ports with a hub. Since upgrading to a switch I have had much less lag, and haven't yet been dropped from a server.

Strengths: Simple to integrate, small size, flawless performance.

Weaknesses: None

Summary: I implemented this switch into my entertainment center so I could run my Xbox 360 and D-link Medialounge without wireless lag. Works perfectly and it's small in size so it's essentially hidden from view.

Strengths: It serves as a splitter for a network jack.

Weaknesses: None

Summary: We had a single network jack in an office and needed to be able to connect two network printers. The switch allowed us to do this easily and inexpensively. So far we have found no problems with this configuration.
