Weaknesses: does not work with at&t dsl. they had to send me a motorola dsl modem, which works fine.

Summary: would not purchase this modem unless you are 100% sure it will work with your provider.

Strengths: Great price, small size

Weaknesses: none

Summary: Bought this to replace an old Speedstream modem. Works great with AT&T DSL in California. My IT manager says that I am no longer losing packets as I was with the Speedstream. Just configured it to bridge (which is the default mode) and let my Netgear router do the authentication.

Strengths: Inexpensive. Good quality.

Weaknesses: Terrible tech support from D-link

Well, I use AT&T Yahoo! DSL, and it worked for me. I am in the Milwaukee area, and ever since I set up this modem a few months ago, I have been online ever since.
