Strengths: Significantly increases connectivity strength when used with a desktop PC hidden under a desk, in a cabinet, etc.
Weaknesses: Needs to have a longer cord. 4' gives very little flexibility in placement, which was the main reason for the product.
Summary: Very helpful when needed to amplify signal. Needs longer cable.

Strengths: Allowes me more options on locating my router.
Weaknesses: Could use longer leads. Five to six feet leads would really work better for me.
Summary: I had been looking for a better way to place my wireless router out of sight. This antenna has allowed me to do just that. I just wish it had longer leads or D-link offered a three or four foot extender cable.

Strengths: did what it was supposed to do
Weaknesses: cable was short
Summary: I was happy with the performance of the product and it allowed me to access my wireless router from a desk top computer located in a cabinet that was not working before.

Strengths: Better signal strength, convenient location possible, good price.
Weaknesses: cable length could be longer
Summary: This D-Link external antenna solved our problems of poor reception and inconvenient location of the wireless router.
I now have the router and cable modem tucked away under the desk, but the "3 ear" antenna is mounted in the best spot for radiating throughout the house.

Strengths: Increases Signal Strength
Wall Mountable
Sturdy Build
Weaknesses: Would be nice if the antenna cable was longer
Summary: If you are looking for a sturdy antenna to increase signal strength, than look no further. This antenna was just what I needed to get my signal above the washer/dryer and hot water tank that was downgrading my signal; however, that's about all it got above because the cable is not long enough to even let the antenna sit at the top of my desk.

Strengths: Faster data rate, wider sevice area. Provides more options for concealing equipment without impacting performance.
Weaknesses: cord should have been longer to allow mounting closer to ceiling.
Summary: Allowed me to put router behind closed doors and out of sight while increasing my useful coverage area.

Strengths: none
Weaknesses: none
Summary: It is just a plain antenna, with a short cable that connects its base to the router.
Not at all a booster like the company claims.
The cable allows for some positioning in case the router cannot be moved, it doesn't have any other use.
