Strengths: Fast duplex scanning, very compact and portable, great value for the price.
Weaknesses: Needs twain software capability
Summary: This is a great scanner for the price. It scans are accurate and fast when connected to an external power supply. It would be nice if it could also use Twain scanning enabling it to work with other software, but I would rate this as an excellent scanner.

Strengths: Compact size; automatic doc feeder; It will take up to 10 pages at a time; It will scan BOTH sides of a doc without having to turn it over (duplex).
Weaknesses: I have not found any weakness yet.
Summary: Great product. Small footprint and a great home or small office scanner. I use this at home and scan bills, medical records and receipts with no problems. It will take different size documents and, in duplex mode, it scans both sides at once.

Summary: I am a CPA and utilize the SnapScan to scan client documents in my two offices. I purchased one for my car business and another for one of my staff at my CPA firm. I have two other scanners (from different manufacturers) and prefer using the SnapScan.

Strengths: Excellent scanner that's small and light - very portable, perfect for scanning on the run.
Weaknesses: None that I've found.
Summary: Following the series of big brother Fujitsu ScanSnaps that are super fast, professional whizzes, the S300 little brother is just as useful. I carry it in my briefcase along with my laptop. No power? No problem - ScanSnap S300 will run from your laptop while it's running on battery! I've never had a Scansnap stop working - I only stop using it when they come out with a new one that has more features. Now everyone on my team has one on their desk and/or with their laptop.
