Disappointed

Strengths: None

Weaknesses: Slow, hard to configure, poor support, bad documentation, doesn't work.

Summary: This is a Scanjet 7650 which has been packaged with an Axis 70U document server. We cannot get it to connect to an LDAP server because the documentation is incomplete. Multi-page document scans often (over 50%) don't email properly. The firmware update process doesn't work. The tech support is HORRIBLE. We had to wait FOUR days for a response on an escalated ticket. Their firmware process isn't designed to work with XP SP2 or SP3 so be prepared to use a computer that is more than three years out of date. We now have to send in the document server for repair or replacement and they tell us it will take two weeks to turn around. Though, for an additional $50 fee they will "rush" it. So far, this purchase has been a total waste of money.
