Strengths: excellent way to do backups

Weaknesses: none that I have seen

Summary: We have moved to REV Drives for all of our in-house servers. Tape drives are a thing of the past..just too many problems. REV technology has taken all of my backup issues away and I can sleep at night knowing our data is secure. I look forward to the 140 GB drive when it hits the market.

Strengths: Rugged drive cartridges. Large storage space. Very fast.

Weaknesses: Could out grow the 70 gigabyte size. Bright-Stor is hard to figure out if you're not a backup admin by trade.

Summary: For a small business/personal back up solution, this can't be beat! The size is ample for most critical business files. Full backup and verify now takes about 2 hrs. for our full server. The tape drive took over 4 hrs. and held about half the server. BrightStor does not have a good small server "wizard", but once past that hurdle, it's fine.
