Strengths: Works quickly and effectively once you get it programmed properly. Physical and software interfaces are good, scan quality and speed are excellent.

Weaknesses: More difficult to set up than it should have been. Product arrived with outdated software that had to be updated through a cumbersome process. Even without that misfire on Kodak's part, the software aspects of the set-up took too much time and effort for this non-IT guy .

Summary: I'd be a very happy customer if I my only experiences with this scanner occurred after I'd gotten it set up on my network. Hopefully my memory of the unpleasantness of getting it set up will fade over time.

Strengths: Fast double sided scans, exceptional quality, this is a great scanner

Weaknesses: I could not set this up on my network without calling in my IT specialist. It took him several hours and multiple phone calls to tech support to figure it out.

Summary: Other than very difficult installation on a network, once installed, this is a really great scanner.
