Lenovo ThinkPad X6 Tablet UltraBase
Mfg Part #: 41U3120
|
Expand the function of your ThinkPad X60 Tablet by snapping it into the ThinkPad X6 Tablet UltraBase. This simple, quick-attach solution ads a wide array of expansion capabilities but is small enough to carry anywhere.
The ThinkPad X6 Tablet UltraBase also supports the ThinkPad Advanced Ultrabay Battery for up to 11 hours of mobile computing (when used in combination with the high-capacity system battery on select models).

Strengths: Convenient to connect/disconnect to stationary devices and DVD-RW.
Weaknesses: - X61 tablet computer is slow to unlock for undocking
- Does not click in effortlessly when notebook is open, must take care to dock it correctly.
- Sound is a bit muffled because speaker is on the bottom
- No vent holes though the bottom.
Summary: Note: The computer Ethernet jack is turned off when the computer is docked. (Make sense, but took me a couple minutes to realize why my network access failed.)

Strengths: Fits seemlessly with the X60 laptops. Has numerous USB ports.
Weaknesses: Have had issues undocking from this device but it might just be my configuration.
Summary: All in all this is a good product that fits seemlessly with the X60 laptop and allows you to run dual monitors, a keyboard, mouse, etc. without having to disconnect everything from your laptop each time you want to go to a meeting.
