Strengths: Ease of use... ability to reduce problems with carpal tunnel and arthritis.

Weaknesses: The 1st one was missing a key and did not work. After trouble shooting with Microsoft they replaced the keyboard.

Summary: A great buy for those with hand problems. Packing and shipping could be better and may have contributed to the problem with the keyboard. It is a dream to use and other than the delayed satisfaction issue I am glad that I bought the keyboard. It has not been bad on battery usage...so far. I hope for many years of usage from the keyboard.

Strengths: Works flawlessly with Windows XP. Very comfortable keyboard & very unique mouse. The mouse takes a liitle getting used to, but my hand/wrist do not hurt after extended use.

Weaknesses: None after 6 months of use!

Summary: I would definately recommend this keyboard and mouse set to anyone. I highly recommend if you are having any issues of pain or discomfort when using your current keyboard/mouse. As a bonus the wireless transmitter is a big as a thumb drive. So gone are the "clunky 'hockey puck'" sized transmitters of other set-ups! Just remember to follow the recommendation of Microsoft for using the unique shaped mouse and you will be glad you switched. Cost Central had the best price on the internet and shipping was fast. Enjoy!

Strengths: The split keyboard and multiple adjustment heights and angles. The new design of the mouse. Only one USB receiver for both the keyboard and mouse.

Weaknesses: The characters began wearing off at less than three weeks.

Summary: Reduced arm and wrist pain. While you would think that someone who types for a living would know where all the keys are, there are times that I have to pause when I am looking at the keyboard because the characters are wearing off; this was not an issue on earlier Microsoft split keyboards for me.

Strengths: no wires to get tangled

Weaknesses: not much in the way of instructions for special keyboard keys and mouse controls.

Summary: First time with wireless keyboard &/or mouse so was a little worried about how well they would function. Have not seen any difference from wired and would definitely recommend this product.

Strengths: Ease of operational set-up

Weaknesses: Trouble with some functions

Summary: It was really easy to get started using my new keyboard and mouse. I have had a few problems with some of the functions as they will not stay the way I set them up, so have to reprogram everyday.
