Strengths: Excellent calendar and email

Weaknesses: Could be more customizable for user

Summary: Overall this is a great product. I would like the ability to customize the colors used for the mail folders. Calendar recurring events can be difficult to manage at times, especially invitations sent by entities on Lotus Notes - i.e. not very compatible.

Strengths: I like MS Outlook for the calander features both on and offline

Summary: I wish this program had been included in the student version of Office so I had to buy it seperately. Like the Calander features and the ability to use it offline vs google that is only online.

Strengths: Revisions to calendar views make it much better

Weaknesses: Lack of ribbon like other 2007 Office products

Summary: Compatibility issues with previous Outlook versions and Windows VISTA prompted the change to Outlook 2007. It was a good move.

Strengths: Compatibility, interface, number of devices which will interface with it, available free add-ins, support, insalled user base,

Weaknesses: complexity, transfering data into program, learning new settings, no longer bundled with Office for Teachers and Students.

Summary: Much improved over earlier version that I used. You can do almost any browsing or communication options from this application.

Strengths: It works with Windows Vista (64 bit edition); I can upload or download appointments from it using my PDA. I can share my calendar with family and friends. I can assess its features from within other Office 2007 applications.

Weaknesses: Its security features do not allow the user to send or receive certain files. These security features cannot be changed by the user.

Summary: Overall, I think it is a good product. I would recommend it to someone who wanted more than the basic built in Mail application that comes with the Windows operating system.

Strengths: New interface is easy to get used to. Loads relatively quick.

Weaknesses: There are some limitations as far as the typical "Microsoft knows better what you want to do than you do."

Summary: I am generally anti-Microsoft but got this to sync my iPAQ for calendar and tasks. I am very pleased with it for that purpose. I do not use the email function so I can't comment on that.

Strengths: Ease of use and ease in setting it up.

Weaknesses: Instant search could be better, adding multiple RSS feeds to folders can slow it down and make it sluggish.

Summary: If you are used to a previous version of Outlook, you can pick right up and keep working with this new version. Outlook 2007 does not use the ribbon bar on the main screen like the other Office components do, but still retains the use of the File/Edit menu. Among the new many features, you can now drag emails and tasks into the calendar. The improvements in the calendar is the main reason I went with this version.

Summary: It synchs well with all the other MS Office 2007 products, but it is frustrating that it is so difficult to import items (i.e. contacts) from previous versions of MS Outlook.

Strengths: Having used this same software on another computer, I love its productivity and ease of use. I'm only having issues installing it on a new computer.

Weaknesses: Potential issues with Vista.

Summary: I loaded it onto a new laptop running Vista. I keep getting an error message and the program shuts down before it completely opens. I have reinstalled it two times, and still have the problem. I guess a call to MS Tech Support is next.

Strengths: Outlook is still the best e-mail program. Good functionality with mail, calendar, contacts, etc.

Weaknesses: Price. This office program should be cheaper.

Summary: Overall very happy with my purchase and CostCentral's price among competitors. Also like CostCentral's fast shipping. Have ordered twice from them and will order again due to ease, convenience, and that they cater and meet all my personal needs.
