This product can only be sold to K-12 and College Students, Educational Institutions, Administrative Offices & Boards of Education, Public Libraries, and Public Museums. Students are limited to 1 copy of each product per calendar year. Students must supply either a clear copy of their student ID or an enrollment verification letter from the registrar's office, via FAX or e-mail (.jpg). Strengths: comprehensive. the gold standard for project management.
Weaknesses: needs a good week of reading before one can use it well.
Summary: Incredibly useful but complex and not intuitive.
The product could use some interface improvements which unfortunately were not made in changing from 2003 to 2007. Still, it is well worth the money.

Strengths: It is fairly easy to open and get started with immediately if you are familiar with other Microsoft products.
Weaknesses: I personally detest Microsoft products because they are typically full of bugs and the monopoly they have over the business world is unfair and bad for competition which results in the lack of quality.
Summary: I needed this software to complete a college course on information systems management. I can see how this type of application would benefit someone who frequently manages complex task-oriented projects.

Strengths: Everyone uses Project - it is the standard.
Weaknesses: There is a learning curve with this project.
Summary: Overall I don't see an alternative to using Project. It has been the standard for so long I don't remember what other products did the same thing.
