Summary: Turned out we needed a complete projector, when the original lamp blew it did something to the projector. Had to return this lamp. Quick turn around on return as well.

Strengths: OEM replacement lamp.

Weaknesses: Made in Communist China. 1. The United States should not do business with Communists. If our economy is in the toilet, sending bales of money to China is not a proper solution. 2. Since the Chinese prostitute their people for about fifty cents per hour and with little regard for ecological factors, this must be a super-high-profit item.

Summary: Looks and fits like the original because it's the NEC replacement. My only complaints are the fact that it's a Communist product that is made for pennies but sold for hundreds of dollars.
