Strengths: 8 port with Wireless G+, VPN, seems like a rock solid router.
Weaknesses: Would of been nice if the 8 ports were Gigabit, and if the router also supported Wireless N. A USB port (or two) for NAS would of been a nice addition too.
Summary: While the Netgear ProSafe FVG318 is billed as a business class router, it falls short on a couple of features; namely, Gigabit amd Wireless N support. However, what it does, it does well. This router has been running 24/7 since I got it (about one month) and has not crashed yet (even when running a bit torrent client). A nice feature I haven't used yet is VPN.
