Strengths: Makes life easier not having to make a new ether jack or run a ether cable through ceilling or along the floor.
Weaknesses: None so far.
Summary: Great product. After looking at a few other local stores and finding that I couldn't buy this item in a "single" vs. a "pair" I found CostCentral and they had a "single" one like I wanted.

Summary: Very easy to set up and use. My house is big and the wireless router could not reach in some of the rooms so I used XE102 adapters to bridge the wireless network. The weak points for this product were that works slowly. The units also come with a CD containing documentation and encryption software but the encryption was not easy to setup.

Summary: I bought this product a few weeks ago and I love it very much. it doesn't need to instal the software, just plug and play. Remember to get two of them for the first PC, then one for the second PC and so on.

Strengths: simple to install, works great right out of the box.
Weaknesses: none found yet
Summary: If you need to extend your internet connection in your house, and don't want to use wireless (or have signal strength issues like I did), this is a great choice to solve that issue.

Strengths: Plug and play and easy to set up. Compact design and appears to be high quality product.
Weaknesses: None
Summary: Easy to set up; just plug in ethernet cord and you're ready to go. Bought this product for Dish Network satellite TV receiver purposes (waive monthly $5 programming access fee) and needed it due to required specifications (homeplug 1.0). So far, I have no problems with this product, which is sold at a good price.

Strengths: Delivers flawless connectivity between systems, modems & components with greater security than wireless.
Weaknesses: Provided ethernet cable could be a little longer.
Summary: This unit delivers as promised. I am using four of them to connect two PCs, a Playstation 3 & our broadband modem. No dropouts or lagging even when all systems are in use. When not in use for the PS3, I use that bridge with my laptop. I needed to buy a longer cable than the one provided in order to reach when working on my deck. It may seem somewhat inconvienient, but I like the idea of greater security over a wireless system, in that my neighbors can't piggyback my modem, or browse my system's files. I would definitely recommend these if you wish to increase your connectivity without dropping cash to pull additional cable hookups in home & like the additional security.

| Works as advertised |
Strengths: works well in almost all situations
Weaknesses: A very small percentage of buildings have dirty power making it unreliable.
Summary: I have over 250 of these in use for over 3 years. If you plug it into a surge suppressor it will filter out the signal. If you plug it into a power strip it may or may not work. Only plug it directly into an outlet. I have only a few locations where the power was so dirty I couldn't use it reliably. If you have orange outlets (dedicated/isolated ground), make sure both devices are on the same circuit. (both on orange outlets or both on white outlets) These are cheaper and easier than pulling cable. They come with a disk so you can set up encryption between the devices but I don't see anybody sneaking in, plugging one in and stealing anything so I don't use the encryption.

Strengths: great product..use it for my slingbox since i do not have an ethernet conx at my tv..use this any where you need an ethernet conx without using a cable..
Weaknesses: none
Summary: works just like a wireless phone jack when you do not have a jack available...except this gives you an ethernet conx any where in your home you need it..but remember these work in pairs you must have two, one transmitter at your router and one receiver at your desired location..just plug it in an ac outlet and you are in business...

Strengths: couldn't be easier to use, just plug it in and your connected.
Weaknesses: needs to be plugged directly into a socket, cannot be too far from the main unit (the one thats connected to router)
Summary: this does exactly what i needed it to. I needed to plug it into an outlet closer to the main unit to get it to work but that was fine with me, i did not want to buy the extender. just plug in the units and your on, no configuration needed.

Summary: This product is a smart way to bridge any connection gaps that involves ethernet connection. I used it to get an internet connection on my upstairs computer. My router is downstairs. With this product i was able to get the same connection speed as if the router was connected to the computer upstairs.
