Strengths: Amazingly loud sounding and great for the receiver on the other end. I have used in windy conditions and I can hear the other person as well as they hear me. I have used the headset while in-line making a purchase and although the other person could hear the random beeps of the register, they could not hear all the loud people in line with me. Unit has a volume control, but I never need to turn it down. It also has a mute button that is MUCH easier to hit than the e815 motorola (my phone) to mute the conversation.

Weaknesses: The extra long cord between the jack and the control piece. I have found a gadget called Cable Turtle which wound that part of the cord up and still looks fashionable for use with the cell phone.

Summary: I recommend this headset to ANYONE that does not want a headset that grasps the top of their ear as a standard headset does. This grips the lower lobe of your ear. It is VERY sturdy too and MUCH easier to remove from your head if needed. I was expecting to receive the BLACK headset as pictured in the advertisement, THIS WAS NOT SO, they sent me the tan version, but I have gotten used to it. The price was STILL much cheaper than the competitors of other websites. The grip of this newer design is a little more tight than the previous model I owned. It just takes a little longer to get used to, but then I am also a larger person, so things like that are noticeable to me too. My last set wore out because of the tension (strain) put on the cords, I actually pulled the wires out from the jack. This was mainly due to the extra long 2 foot cord between the control and the jack. I was always getting it caught on something to give it that "extra" jerk. I recommend the cable turtle as it allows you to wrap the cord up inside a convenient spool and folds up around the cord. It keeps the wire from getting caught too. I have tried MANY different headsets and Plantronics are THE BEST for corded technologies for cell phones.
