Strengths: Comfortable. Very effective noise canceling microphone.

Weaknesses: This is the second headset like it I've had. The first developed a loose connection after about a year and a half.

Summary: I've used several headsets over the years, and this is the best one (including much more expensive ones that needed a power connection and contained an amplifier, which this one does not need). This one works with all my cordless phones, including my cell phone. The earpiece volume is good, and is always clear. Very good microphone - never a complaint about my volume being too low to hear me (unlike other headsets I've tried). All together, I've purchased 4 of these headsets. Two for me, one for my son, and one for his girlfriend (so they don't have to hold their cell phones next to their heads, which may or may not be unhealthy). My first headset went bad, and developed a loose connection so there was too much static when I spoke. I replaced that with another of exactly the same type (because I like it so much). I *think* the loose connection might have developed because of the way the headset is packaged. For some odd reason, they bend the cord back upon itself near the little pod that contains the volume control. It is so tightly held by the plastic container, that if you are not very careful when you remove it from the package, you can easily overstress the cord -- especially with the cord bent back on itself. BE CAREFUL WHEN REMOVING IT FROM THE PACKAGE!!!

Strengths: Very good sound quality for the cost. Light-weight.

Weaknesses: Still not a loud reception as desired.

Summary: This is the best of many low-cost headsets I have owned. Sound quality and volume are very good. Unit is comfortable. I only use in a relatively quiet room so I don't know about background noise. I wish reception volume could go higher, but this is the best I found. I guess to get more volume would require an amplifier in the headset.

Strengths: The sound quality is better than I thought it would be taking into account the price of the unit.

Weaknesses: The device is not the most comfortable headset to wear for extended periods of time.

Summary: The sound quality is good but it can be painful to wear for more than 20 minutes at a time.

Summary: I have trusted Plantronics for years as I have bi-lateral Meniures Disease and I'm deaf in my left ear and partially deaf in my left ear and the head-set helps with that and also I had cancer in my spine leaving me with severe spinal stenous of which I can't hold anything for very long in my right hand
