Strengths: Wireless keyboard, and an updated Media Center makes this Home Theatre enjoyable to use. First time with Vista and am sold with the alt+tab feature.
Weaknesses: Devices like the TP20E have human-like characteristics. It is round and almost appears to be smiling when the disc tray is out. When you turn it on its white illuminating ring glows of pure esctasy. It too has a humanlike stubborn personality. Otherwise known as my evil nemesis:
"Stop. Your Display Environment Does Not Support Protected Content Playback."
Thought I bought this Home PC Theatre to watch Blu-Ray discs, but I soon realized I needed to be tought a lesson. Do your research. HDCP? I guess it stands for High-bandwith Digital Content Protection. The Sony Bravia 40XBR4 is a suitable display, but somewheres one of my components is not HDCP compatible. I believe it is my disc drive. The TV checks out, and so does the video card. If you haven't any time to research, buy AnyDVD to get around this nuisance.
Runner up:
"Error: Chassis Fan Speed Is Abnormal."
This is how I was greeted out of the box in DOS mode. Had to hit Any Key to bypass it. Apparently, it is not detrimental to my VIAOs health because it has ran fine ever since.
Summary: OK if you are a die hard computer fan. Self education, TV tuners, and Cable Card technology makes any effort to optimize these features futile. The overall spectrum this would be a rocking system to have hooked up to your home theatre.
