Strengths: VERY fast processing, after the long warm up period. Exceptional quality. Great editing tools built right in.

Summary: I use this scanner to scan all documents in my document intensive law office. I have been impressed with the ease of use and the speed of the scanner. The only drawback is the warm up that seems to be required any time the scanner is to be used. The warm up takes forever (it seems). It may be that I do not have the defaults set right. I will be looking into this more.

Strengths: Fast Duplex Scanning for the price. Flatbed option. Solid performance. Paperport software included.

Weaknesses: Warm-up time erratic and may cause delays.

Summary: Excellent performer for the price. I have two units that work well. A network option would be welcome. I have not had service issues or software conflicts so far. Works best on faster PC with plenty of RAM.

Summary: this scanner totally outdoes any combo printer/scanner/fax that I've ever owned. I wish I would have bought it long ago!

Strengths: realy scans fast

Weaknesses: if not set up properly, warm up is needed after 5 min of non-use.

Summary: The only weakness I found was that if the unit was not set up properly, warm up is needed after 5 min of non-use. Other wise this is "the" scanner.
