Strengths: Easy to add another full raid drive. Alerts for key events automatically sent to your email. Performance.

Weaknesses: No default shell access to device (need to install 3rd party applications for this). Minimal raid options. Interface for changing ACLs on directories is a little difficult to use. Implicit permissions are difficult to find (I would prefer them all in one location vs. navigating through multiple menus). Price.

Summary: Overally performance is good and ease of use for redundancy is fantastic. Web based management interface requires a little getting used to but still provides access to necessary features. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to have a high end consumer (but compact)NAS. You will want to purchase another drive for full redundancy.
